Responsibilities:
Create and maintain a safe working environment, and actively participate in plant safety events, committees, and activities.
Perform advance quality planning activities, including participation in design reviews and FMEAs, author and manage control plans and shop floor quality documents Conduct quality audits on systems, products and processes Lead disciplined problem solving activities and take quick and appropriate action to contain, relieve symptoms on the shop floor, then follow through to robust verification of permanent corrective action effectiveness Utilize mistake proofing and robust design interventions to prevent problems from returning Analyze data and determine appropriate actions to improve first pass quality & process repeatability Identify, manage and successfully complete projects and tasks, and lead & facilitate events to visibly improve quality and process controls on the shop floor Fully leverage existing systems and resources to effect substantial, rapid and visible improvement on the shop floor through work orders, purchase orders, capital appropriation requests Have ongoing dialog with external resources to drive improvement in external quality, new products quality, design quality and supplier quality Create and maintain quality procedures within an ISO-based framework Competencies:

Education/
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technically related major required 2
experience as an engineer (Quality, Manufacturing, or Process Engineering preferred) in a progressive manufacturing environment.
Background MUST include:
Demonstrated successful quality planning:
design review, design for manufacturability, assembly, etc.
, control plans, FMEA, work instructions, measurement systems design & analysis, process validation Demonstrated successful identification, design, sourcing, acquisition and implementation of effective mistake-proofing technologies Demonstrated data analysis and disciplined problem solving skills resulting in significant process improvement Demonstrated successful project management skills Engineering experience in a manual assembly, high volume, discrete manufacturing environment is highly preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
