Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
Industrial Maintenance Mechanic with major manufacturing company in New Bern ,NC. Will maintain production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. Temporary to Hire position with excellent benefits after hire.
Job Duties:
Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyors, compressors, hydraulic cylinders and CNC machines
Ability to follow diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, manufacturer's instructions and engineering specifications.
Troubleshoot malfunctions and locate sources of problems by observing and using precision measuring and testing instruments
Remove defective parts by dismantling devices using proper tools
Adjust functional parts of devices
Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts by using calipers, micrometers and other measuring instruments
Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop equipment
Align and adjust new equipment after installation
Maintain mechanical maintenance reports
Requirements:
Three years of experience or equivalent in training in this type of work
Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test
HSD or GED
Shift work required
