Production Supervisor

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers in a manufacturing environment - Ensure production goals and targets are met on a daily basis - Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary to optimize efficiency and quality - Train and develop production team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively - Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a safe working environment - Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control and maintenance, to resolve any production issues or equipment malfunctions - Maintain accurate records of production data, including output, downtime, and quality metrics - Continuously improve production processes through the implementation of lean manufacturing principles
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in a related field is a plus - Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing setting - Strong knowledge of production processes, including materials handling, CNC operations, and plastics injection molding - Proficient in using hand tools, micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments - Basic math skills for performing calculations related to production metrics - Familiarity with logic controllers and ability to troubleshoot basic issues - Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously Note:
