As our Food Service Cook, you'll work closely with our teachers and staff to nourish the minds and bodies of our students through delicious, nutritious meals.

Create healthy, kid-friendly menus that align with state and federal nutrition guidelines Prepare breakfast, lunch, and snacks from scratch using fresh, local ingredients Maintain a sparkling clean kitchen that meets the highest safety standards Collaborate with our Food Program Coordinator on ordering, budgeting, and record-keeping Bond with students by visiting classrooms and incorporating kids' food ideas Attend staff meetings and bring your creativity and care to our team We're looking for someone with:

years experience cooking for large groups Passion for feeding kids healthy, delicious food Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Commitment to cleanliness and food safety standards High school diploma/GED required Must Have a NC Background Check, TB Screening and Medical Report If you love whipping up nutritious, delicious meals for kids, we invite you to apply to be our Food Service Cook today!
