Candidates must possess strong writing skills, oral communication skills, computer skills, organizational abilities and the ability to work independently.
Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.
Responsibilities include:
Draft correspondence, pleadings, and discovery documents Communicate with clients, witnesses, court personnel, and experts Obtains, reviews and summarizes medical records, employment records and insurance documents at the direction of trial attorneys and has them reviewed by experts as necessary.
Coordinates depositions of all witnesses.
Review and summarize depositions and other discovery materials Trial preparation, including electronic presentations and witness preparation Assist attorneys at trial with electronic presentations, coordinating witnesses and managing trial exhibits Assist with document reviews and productions Internet research Docket court filing deadlines and scheduling orders The firm offers a collegial work environment and a competitive compensation and benefits package.
