Sales associates provide expert product selection assistance and expediting of orders from vendors.

Sales Commission! Work with retail customer and contractors in planning and product selection for new home construction and remodeling kitchen and bath projects Use strong consultative sales skills, negotiation and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, strong follow-up skills and motivation to make the sale Follow-up on quotations given to customers Maintain knowledge of competitive market conditions and utilize strategic pricing strategies Maintain current understanding of manufacturer pricing structures, freight, and return policies Assist manager in corporate and branch marketing promotions Purchase and track receipt of non-stock products insuring that customer needs are met Schedule deliveries Coordinate with outside sale people on showroom orders for their assigned accounts Develop long-term relationships with builders, architects, designers, and contractors Meet with manufacturers representatives to maintain currency of product knowledge Attend company and manufacturer training classes and meetings Seek and participate in networking opportunities Represent company at Chamber of Commerce meetings, Builder Association meetings, and other similar events Assist in scheduled physical inventory counts Use appropriate office technologies and computers to process and track orders and maintain excellent communication with all contacts Maintain organization, cleanliness, and currency of showroom displays Follow company policies and procedures Other duties as assigned Job Type:
