If you are a self-motivated professional, we are looking for you to join our family! This is a Monday - Friday position, with no Saturday work hours, plus you work in an air-conditioned shop! If you are a Master Technician with training on any or all major automotive brands, we have your next position with our family.
Responsibilities:
Diagnoses the cause of any malfunction and performs repair with the use of testing and diagnostic equipment.
Communicates with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
Communicates with service advisors and customers immediately if additional work is needed, if the work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
Provides labor and time estimates for additional work.
Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
Road tests vehicles to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events.
Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to the supervisor.
Ensures that customers' cars are kept clean.
Notifies service advisors immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle.
Keeps the shop area neat and clean.
Maintains and is accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals.
