Assembler 1st Shift New Bern, NC / Full-time Your responsibilities While meeting time standards, the Assembler performs assembly or sub-assembly operations on an assembly line.
These operations may require the use of various hand tools, calculator or testing equipment.
Maintains awareness of BS safety guidelines Adheres to BSH safety guidelines by wearing and utilizing required PPE Understand and participate in the 5S process Assemble a variety of home appliance or sub-assemblies of home appliances on an assembly line to meet prescribed specifications Perform all required job functions in a safe manner consistent with plant safety standards and report any problems immediately to the Team Leader or Production Supervisor Meet or exceed time standards for the particular operation being performed Perform required work such as quality checks, etc.
for the particular operation being performed Perform necessary material handling duties required by the operation Perform any necessary line/product changes in accordance with the BOM or preventative maintenance required by the operation Work together and communicate daily with fellow associates about operation and safety issues Perform all other duties as assigned Your profile High School Diploma or equivalent required Ability to learn 5S Ability to cross train Communicate effectively with all Associates Basic measurement instruments and machine control knowledge if required for the work area 0-2 years Assembly or similar manufacturing experience Your Pay & Benefits The pay range posted for this position is based on the location noted in the posting title.
Exact compensation offered may vary based on your specific skillset and work location.
If the position is bonus or incentive eligible then the maximum payout potential is 200% of target with details laid out within the plan document.
