Supply Chain Analyst New Bern, NC/ Full-time Your responsibilities The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for material management and component availability to support the factory production schedules of finished goods, in-house production, customer service assemblies and accessories.
The procurement of components is managed through calculations, analysis, and communication through scheduling agreements, notifications and vendor interaction.
The Supply Chain Analyst optimizes and develops all different facets of the supply chain to improve delivery and cost through structured problem solving and leading improvement projects.
The position responsibility requires monitoring of vendor performance to ensure adequate delivery fulfillment and timely shipments.
Delivery and inventory requirements are based on developed inventory and lean manufacturing strategies, targeting calculated cost optimization versus material availability and inventory coverage.
For example:
the daily work requires structured problem solving, root cause analysis and project lead responsibilities, in order to continuously improve communication automation/ digitalization, delivery lead times, inventory optimization and cost improvement/ savings of materials from the global vendor base.
In addition the responsibilities involve, process development, material flow understanding, Total Cost of Ownership calculations and analyses, phase-in/phase-out process coordination, and optimization responsibility.
Material Planning:
Apply Supply Chain Management strategies & maintain proactive material planning with the objective of providing on time delivery to support demand requirements vs.
cost.
Follow internal processes as defined.
Define, develop and apply Inventory Strategies to optimize cost vs.
delivery, to maximize operating efficiency.
Problem Solving:
Apply standard methodology (5 why/8D/A3/PDCA/Problem Solving Sheet) to all deviations from defined standards and identified issues to ensure continuous cost & delivery improvement, based on identified root cause.
Project Lead:
Lead company Systems CIP (Continuous Improvement Projects).
Targeting improved Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost Improvements Cost Savings, or Cost avoidance.

Supplier Development:
Drive supply base performance improvement by implementing strategies to improve delivery and flexibility, in addition to effectively manage overall procurement and optimized inventory.
Define terms, conditions and business requirements for suppliers and participate in supplier selection.
Follow Escalation Matrix notifications with problem identified and decision matrix available.
Comply with all the applicable company policies and procedures with regard to personal conduct, Environment Health Safety (EHS), Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs (PSRA), Purchasing Policy, Confidentiality and other requirements as identified by the Company Employee Handbook).
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Your profile 4-Year degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or Business Administration - Required 3-5 Years of Experience (Manufacturing/Production Work Environment) - Required Understanding of Supply Chain theories, applications, and lean philosophy Problem Solving tools, Root Cause Analysis and Decision Making Lean Manufacturing Concepts & Process Understanding Knowledge of Supplier Development and project leadership experience Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office including Excel and SAP Applications Excellent oral and written communications skills to work with various departments in the organization as well as outside vendors.
Ability to gather, interpret, analyze and proactively act on data with minimal supervision.
Must be able to manage stressful situations High sense of urgency with ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, anticipating and adjusting to production challenges to meet customer requirements.
Your Pay & Benefits The pay range posted for this position is based on the location noted in the posting title.
Exact compensation offered may vary based on your specific skillset and work location.
If the position is bonus or incentive eligible then the maximum payout potential is 200% of target with details laid out within the plan document.
